Broadband!

Well, I have finally managed to drag myself into the 21st century with the arrival of the Telewest man this afternoon to install BROADBAND! The reason that I had been persisting with my grindingly slow dial-up for so many years is that anything speedier required me to buy a new computer. After trying (and failing) to save up for a new Mac, I was forced to put my snobbish inclinations aside and buy a cheap PC from Dell. However, I will still be using my Mac for most things because it is far better and sexier than anyone at Microsoft would dare to believe. I just need to remember to wash my hands between computers because I don't want to transfer any nasy PC viruses across...
